Norfolk Broads
A LUXURY THATCHED CHOCOLATE BOX COTTAGE BY THE SEA
One of the prettiest properties in the Norfolk village of Winterton-on-Sea and just five minutes walk to the dunes and sandy beach. Periwinkle has four bedrooms and is suitable for large family get togethers and celebrations all year round. It is also available to book as a two bedroom accommodation for short breaks with our under-occupancy discount. There are two price lists and two booking forms on the Dates & Rates page.
Periwinkle Cottage
A DOG friendly chocolate box holiday cottage in the centre of the village, a few minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach, which is also dog friendly year round.
Periwinkle is a thatched property which has been completely refurbished with new windows, doors, carpets and kingsize beds in both double rooms.
Entrance hall has plenty of hanging space for coats and has a rack for boots and shoes.
The sitting/dining room has a log effect fire and comfortable sofas and arm chairs. it is equipped with a flat screen TV with DVD player. There is a book library and a selection of board games. The dining table comfortably seats eight and there is also a wooden high chair.
French doors lead to the back garden, where there is patio area with wooden furniture and a well kept enclosed south facing garden.
Fully equipped kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher, large Smeg fridge with freezer, a washing machine.
The bathroom has an over bath shower unit and WC. There is also a separate shower room with WC.
Upstairs there are four large bedrooms with two kingsize doubles and two twin rooms, all have very comfortable firm mattresses. There is also a Cloakroom WC.
The cottage has central heating and under floor heating in the kitchen.
Linen and towels are provided and there's free WiFi.
No smoking inside the cottage, but it is perimitted in the back garden.
Norfolk Broads
Winterton is one of the nearest coastal villages to the Broads and hiring a dayboat from a nearby yard is a great way to enjoy this national park. Most welcome dogs.
Miles and miles of unspoilt sandy beach and dunes at Winterton are within a very short walk. There is a cafe and public toilets. The beach is dog friendly year round.

Horsey Seals
Hundreds of grey seal pups are born on the beach at nearby Horsey each winter and a special viewing area is set up for visitors to take in the spectacular sight.
